What this tool calculates

Astrology Quiz is a fixed twenty-question knowledge check connected to the ten Learn Astrology lessons. Each question presents four selectable answers and is tagged to a related lesson, such as Panchanga, Nakshatra, Whole Sign houses, Vargas, Vimshottari Dasha, matching, transits or methodology. The existing grading function compares the selected zero-based option index against the recorded answer for each question. The interface displays the number attempted, the number correct and a score out of twenty after you choose Check quiz. It is deliberately a review exercise, not an astronomical calculation or a predictive compatibility test.

How to interpret the result

Try answering the questions from memory, then select Check quiz. The screen distinguishes a correct response from an incorrect response and, for an attempted incorrect item, points back to the lesson title to review. It does not show the secret answer by predicting your intent. A worked scoring example: suppose you answer twelve of the twenty questions, with nine correct. The screen reports Attempted 12/20 and Score 9/20. It does not show a misleading 9/12 final score. The grading function's optional percentage is also based on the complete twenty-item total, so nine correct corresponds to 45 percent; unanswered items do not increase the numerator. If you answer another question after checking, the UI clears the previous submitted display until you check again. Use this distinction to track both coverage and accuracy. For example, a question asking what determines Janma Nakshatra tests whether you remember the sidereal birth Moon longitude; another asks for the total number of Padas, which is 27 times 4, or 108. For methodology questions, think through why two sites can disagree about Lagna because of location, timezone or house conventions. To learn rather than merely memorize, revisit the named lesson and compare the rule with a transparent calculator output. The quiz questions are a fixed educational set; completing them repeatedly is useful for recall but does not establish new evidence about the validity of the broader tradition.

Scope and limitations

The score reflects answers to this site's authored multiple-choice questions only. It is not an exam administered by an educational board, a credential, psychological measure, scientific validation of predictive claims or proof of competence in chart interpretation. Some distractors are deliberately unrealistic to teach safety boundaries. Repeating the same fixed items can improve familiarity without improving real-world reasoning. The learner should cross-check primary sources and conventions and should not make important personal decisions from a quiz result.
