Calculation Methodology
AstroVedic360 separates astronomical calculations from traditional interpretation. Location-aware tools use the selected coordinates and IANA timezone, while birth-time handling explicitly addresses daylight-saving ambiguity where it exists. When traditions use different conventions, the selected method is stated instead of silently mixing several schools.
Calculated values such as planetary positions, sunrise, Tithi, Nakshatra, houses and timing boundaries come from the implemented astronomy and astrology formulas. Interpretive guidance is traditional context and should not be treated as a guaranteed personal outcome.
Panchang & Calendar
Daily Panchang is anchored to the selected location and civil date. Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga and Karana are derived from calculated Sun/Moon positions, while sunrise and sunset use the selected coordinates. Monthly calendar cells use the Panchanga state near local sunrise.
Kundli / Jathakam
The main Vedic chart uses the Lahiri/Chitrapaksha sidereal zodiac and Whole Sign houses. Divisional charts, Vimshottari Dasha, Ashtakavarga, Shadbala and classical aspect layers use their disclosed formulas. Advanced methods with fewer independent reference comparisons are accompanied by plain-language method notes.
Marriage Matching
Ashtakoota uses the traditional 36-point framework. The South-Indian 10-Porutham layer uses a disclosed bride-to-groom counting convention for Dina, Mahendra and Stree Deergha, while Rajju and Vedha are shown separately. Regional Yoni, Vasya and exception matrices are not silently guessed.
Muhurtham
Muhurtham tools provide shortlist windows from the rule families implemented by AstroVedic360, including local sunrise/daylight boundaries and selected avoidance periods. Regional customs, personal birth-chart factors and ceremony-specific traditions can change the final choice.
KP Horoscope & Prashna
KP calculations use a separately disclosed Krishnamurti ayanamsha and Placidus unequal house cusps. KP Prashna maps a 1–249 number to a fixed first cusp while the question moment supplies planetary positions and Ruling Planets. Vedic Prashna remains separate and uses the actual question-time Lahiri Lagna, Whole Sign houses, Panchanga and Hora. Full KP significator judgement, cuspal promise/denial logic, Arudha/Nimitta synthesis and yes/no event verdicts are not included in the current tools.
Gem, Rudraksha & Ishta Devata
The Gem Report uses seven classical visible-planet gemstone correspondences and shows the chart roles behind each result. Rudraksha uses one disclosed modern Navagraha-to-Mukhi convention because published schools differ. Ishta Devata uses the selected seven-karaka Jaimini framework with Atmakaraka, Navamsa/Karakamsa and the 12th-from-Karakamsa rule sequence.
Vastu & House Facing
House Facing converts the measured entrance azimuth into one of eight directions using the stated inside-facing-out convention. Vastu guidance is traditional planning context and never overrides structural, electrical, fire-safety, accessibility or building-code requirements.
Karte, Narayan Bali & Nitya Yoga
Karte dates are calculated as Lahiri-sidereal solar Nakshatra ingresses. Narayan Bali is a selectable sunrise-Tithi screening aid and requires priest or temple confirmation. Nitya Yoga classification is one Muhurta factor and does not replace Tithi, Nakshatra, Vara, Lagna, Bala or event-specific rules.
Learning & Devotional Tools
Baby Names uses a curated starter library indexed by traditional Nakshatra-Pada naming sounds. Learn Astrology and the quiz are educational references. Sai Prashnavali is an original devotional reflection tool rather than a prophecy system, and Navagraha material is presented as cultural/spiritual practice rather than medical or financial advice.
Nadi Astrology
AstroVedic360 does not currently provide a generic Nadi reading. Nadi traditions are source- and lineage-sensitive, so the site will not manufacture palm-leaf claims, past-life narratives or exact-event predictions without a traceable methodology.
