How this tool works and how to read it
Marriage Matching compares two complete birth profiles rather than asking only for names or Moon signs. AstroVedic360 calculates the birth Moon Rashi, Nakshatra and Pada for each person and then evaluates the implemented Ashtakoota factors on the traditional 36-point scale. The report also exposes Manglik screening and selected South-Indian star/Porutham context where the underlying rule table is implemented and disclosed.
The purpose of the page is to make the inputs and factor-by-factor reasoning visible. A total score is easy to quote, but it can hide which Kootas contributed to that number and where regional schools differ. The report therefore keeps Varna, Vashya, Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gana, Bhakoot and Nadi separate and shows the birth-star profiles used to calculate them.
How to read the result
First verify both birth profiles. If one birth time or birthplace is wrong, the Moon can move into a different Nakshatra or Pada and the comparison may change. Then read the eight Koota rows before looking at the total.
Use Manglik as a transparent screening calculation, not as an automatic relationship verdict. The site shows the implemented reference points and flagged houses while keeping exception systems and school-specific cancellation rules bounded to what is actually implemented.
Finally, treat the result as one traditional compatibility lens. Communication, values, consent, health, safety and real-world relationship history are outside the scope of a chart-matching score and should not be replaced by it.
Worked example: the same total can hide different profiles
Suppose Pair A and Pair B both receive 25 out of 36. Pair A may have strong Graha Maitri and Gana but a lower Tara contribution, while Pair B reaches the same total through a different combination. Reading only 25/36 would make those two comparisons look identical even though the traditional factor pattern is different.
AstroVedic360 keeps each factor visible so the user can see where the score came from. If a regional family tradition uses an additional Porutham or exception rule, that should be reviewed separately rather than being silently added to the 36-point total.
Methodology and limits
The matching engine derives the required Moon-sign and Nakshatra inputs from the supplied birth instants and then applies the site’s disclosed Ashtakoota convention. Regional rule variations are identified as such instead of being blended into one undocumented formula.
The result is educational and traditional context, not a deterministic recommendation to marry, separate or make any other high-stakes personal decision.
Frequently asked questions
Is 18 out of 36 automatically a good marriage match?
No single cutoff guarantees relationship quality. Read the individual Koota factors and the disclosed limitations instead of using only the total.
Why are exact birth details requested?
They are used to calculate each person’s Moon Rashi, Nakshatra and Pada rather than relying on a name-based guess.
Does the report include Manglik?
Yes, it includes the implemented Manglik screening with visible reference logic and keeps unimplemented exception systems outside the final claim.
Can two traditions produce different results?
Yes. Regional and lineage conventions can differ, especially for Porutham, Yoni, Rajju, Vedha and exception rules. The site labels the convention it uses.
