Understanding this calculator
What this tool calculates
Monthly Planetary Transits searches for exact sidereal Rashi boundary crossings during a selected month. It follows the computed longitude of the requested planet and refines the moment it leaves one zodiac sign and enters another. Each entry gives the from-Rashi, to-Rashi, motion direction and local timestamp. Unlike a daily ephemeris screenshot, this tool is designed to identify transitions that happen between two sampled dates. The selected timezone controls presentation; it does not change the universal planetary event.
How to interpret the result
Choose the planet and calendar month, then inspect the transition list in chronological order. Some bodies may have no sign crossing in that month; zero events is not proof that the calculator failed. Fast-moving planets may cross more often, while retrograde motion can create a re-entry into a sign already visited. The output's forward or reverse direction is therefore important; a familiar sign name alone does not tell the full transit story. As a traceable example, the regression checks the Sun's September 2026 transition from Simha to Kanya and confirms its local Hyderabad date of 17 September. The test evaluates the actual planet immediately before and after the refined instant to verify that the sign changes. If a different calculator lists the date as September 16 or 17, compare timezones and exact ingress times before assuming either display is wrong. The same transition instant should remain the same when displayed for a second city, even though the date and clock label can change. To see how a transit might relate to a natal chart, the reader needs a genuine birth-chart reference and a clearly stated house method; this list deliberately does not infer a personal event from crossing a sign boundary. For Nakshatra intervals, use the neighboring Nakshatra transit calculator because zodiac signs and lunar mansions have different boundaries.
Scope and limitations
The calculated ingress is not a guarantee of changes in employment, relationships, markets or health. School-specific interpretations may depend on houses, Dashas, natal placements and other factors absent from this summary list. Results depend on the stated sidereal longitude convention and on valid time conversion. Monthly selection is not a guarantee that every possible classical transit metric or alternative planet set is included. Do not substitute a sampled horoscope sentence for an exact recorded crossing.
