Rahu Kalam
A traditional weekday-dependent segment of local daylight, not the astronomical position of Rahu.
Definition
Rahu Kalam is calculated by dividing sunrise-to-sunset daylight into eight equal parts and assigning a weekday-specific segment. Its clock time therefore changes with date and location.
Example
A published fixed time such as 7:30–9:00 cannot be globally correct because sunrise and sunset vary.
AstroVedic360 derives the interval from local rise/set and treats it as one traditional scheduling factor.
